| About Us The British Defence Film Library was founded in April 1996 when an MOD Contract was awarded to SSVC which had traditionally operated a distribution facility for military training videos, CD-ROMS and training packs. BDFL supplies training programmes to all three Armed Services from a master library of approximately 3500 titles, representing over 40 years worth of material. New programmes are added to the library every year providing a unique collection of modern British Military footage depicting most aspects of the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force. BDFL's
