Cyprus Today is the local news show for British Forces Cyprus. It tells the forces community what's going on both inside and outside of the wire.

A highlight of Cyprus Today is the forces news, which covers a range of interesting issues from welfare to operations to community news, and looks at how they affect the local forces and their families.

Cyprus Today also features a round-up of the day's news from Cyprus' English language press.

In addition, Cyprus Today covers all the latest sporting news across British Forces Cyprus and from around the island.

Cyprus Today is presented by Dave Roberts in the Western Sovereign Base Area, and Abby Ferkin in the Eastern Sovereign Base Area. Dave has been with BFBS for many years and has lived the forces life.

Cyprus Today also welcomes regular reports from Nigel Rennie in the Eastern Sovereign Base Area.

You can listen to Cyprus Today every weekday at 10:03pm and 13.30pm.

The Cyprus Today team also produces regular C-Files. These are ‘information bursts about YOUR community so please let us know if you have any news or information you'd like us to broadcast as a C-File.

And, of course, if you have any news stories for Cyprus Today then please give us a call on (2527) 5152 or email cyprustoday@bfbs.com.
