Judith hails from Northern Ireland and moved to England in 1986. After a long spell with hospital radio, during which time she won a BBC Radio 1 award. She was offered her first professional presenter job at CFM in Carlisle where she presented The Late Night Love Zone and became part time agony aunt for insomniacs. She also did some stints on a Saturday Night programme ‘A Taste of Soul’ and Sunday breakfast. Since 2001, Judith has been slowly working her way around the BFBS forces world - with stints in the Falklands, Belize, Gibraltar, Cyprus and Bosnia – three times! Wherever she has been Judith has managed to enjoy her association with the Armed Forces and has been winched from a Sea king helicopter, dangled from a Hercules over South Georgia and was even Acting RSM for the day in Bosnia! She
is now in JHQ in Germany with a new job as Roving Regional Reporter, and
loving it! And she’s set herself the task of attempting to learn
German! |
