Lee Randell

Taking “New Year, new career” quite literally, Lee started work with BFBS at the beginning of the millennium! Before that he worked in electronics and then moved into marketing where he retrained as a graphic designer. He claims he wrecked more equipment than he fixed, so thought it would be safer to mess about with chunky marker pens instead!

However, Lee's real ambition was to work in radio. When the chance came with BFBS he leapt at it – landing a two year posting to Northern Ireland.

From there he's had postings to Germany, Gibraltar and several other stints in Northern Ireland and now a detachment to The Falkland Islands.

When not on detachment, Lee usually manages all the network shows and DJ's back at BFBS Radio's Network Centre in the UK.
