Andy Pearman

Andy started with the BBC in 1986 and then moved to Independent Radio in Hampshire where he worked for Power FM, Ocean FM and South Coast Radio…. “Why work for one radio station when you can work for all three!”.

He began in radio production and moved on to promotional work including running the outside broadcasts and roadshows for three years.

Andy's first full time on-air job was with cable network Max FM in Southampton. He then moved to talkSPORT and also presented Orchard FM in Somerset. Since then he has presented for 2CR FM in Bournemouth and at Oasis FM and Mercury FM in Hertfordshire where he was breakfast presenter and station manager.

Andy joined BFBS in the Spring of 2001 as a radio presenter and television continuity announcer, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘multi-media'.

Right now, Andy is Promotions Manager for BFBS Radio, BFBS TV continuity announcer and presenter of the Saturday Lunch Show in some BFBS location areas - “Lucky for some and unlucky for others…” he says, “…I'll let you decide which!”.
