It all started one cold winters day when a dirty
electrician stumbled into BFBS Gibraltar and asked, 'Have you got any
jobs going?' Ben joined the team at BFBS Gibraltar as a volunteer and
after six months his extreme hard work and dedication to the cause paid
off. He joined the team full time at the tender age of 22 - finally leaving
the world of cables, switches and sockets behind, but still enjoying the
odd bit of AC/DC (The band). Since leaving Gibraltar Ben has travelled around the
Forces world to The Falklands, Belize, Iraq and is now posted to Cyprus. Too
young to write a lengthy biog, yet old enough to be a big classic rock fan (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy and The Doors to name a few). He's also really into the 90's grunge scene. Ben loves a game of
football, rugby, enjoys almost all kinds of music, loads of
extreme sports, travel and all kinds of eating. His ambitions change pretty much on a daily basis. To find out what today's is you can get in touch with him on ben.lynch@bfbs.com |
