Chris is another BFBS DJ who kicked off his career in hospital radio in his hometown of Dartford, Kent. He also worked with South-East London cable station Radio Thamesmead. Within months of finishing A Levels he landed his first radio job with North Sea pirate, Radio Caroline. He followed that with a spell onboard another radio ship, the Peace Ship, home to the Voice of Peace, an English language top 40 station off the coast of Tel Aviv in Israel. Back in the UK he worked his way round some of London's pirate stations including Skyline, JFM and the then pirate Kiss whilst running Radio HMV in London's Oxford Street. Six years followed in commercial radio with Invicta (Kent), Power FM (Hants), Contact 94 (in France), Chiltern (Herts), Key 103 (Manchester), Essex FM, Radio Nova and UK wide on The Superstation. He also presented inflight radio shows for a number of years for Singapore Airlines and produced speech packages for London's Capital Radio. He joined BFBS in London in 1991 and has worked in Cyprus, Iraq, Belize, the Falklands, Kosovo, Bosnia, Kuwait, Oman, Germany, Northern Ireland.
