Joining BFBS as a trainee in 2004 seems like ages ago… straight from uni I was whisked way to Gibraltar for six months where there was sun, sea and well, apes! Then it was on to Germany - a snowy Germany I may add. After a bout of presenting weekend breakfast shows and setting two alarm clocks to ensure I got to the studio in time I then made the most of presenting the Forces Big Drive Home and getting a bit more of a lie-in!

In between all that were three great months in Bosnia - where I got known for my random comments, Bed Head hair and spinning obsession (don’t ask). The adventure continued with a six-month detachment in the Falklands. Yes, right down there in the southern hemisphere with the biggest penguin and sheep population in the world.

On my return to Germany, the alarm clocks were back out as I'm now co-presenting the Breakfast Show Monday to Friday for 6.30-10am
