Gini was born at a very early age in the frozen
North and didn't take her duffel coat off 'til the age of 15. After selling
knickers on Chesterfield market she almost became the Vicar of Dibley,
but having given up a life of cream teas, hymn singing, selling Mantovani
LP's at Church fairs, a house (a very nice house) in the country and having
been a volunteer at BFBS Cyprus for a few years, she tried her hand at
the world of commercial radio in the picturesque hamlets of Grimsby and
Slough, and found that she quite liked it ...Fish, chips, and a blue panda
pop for £1.50 helped no end. |
