Steve Britton

Radio stations in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi provided Steve with his grounding to join BFBS. The former gave him one of his first broadcast opportunities as a traffic reporter. It was perhaps his easiest job to date as exactly the same roads were grid locked at the same time every day.

He joined BFBS in 1984 and believes that he would have had to join Thomas Cook in order to experience wider travel options. He particularly enjoys working with the forces and the camaraderie that exists within them. He loves the Far East, football teams that play with flair and is married to Dorothy who comes from Penang, Malaysia.
