Marines OPTAG - Dur 2.38
A
4,000 strong brigade of Royal Marines and supporting tri
service troops has entered the final phase of preparation
to lead British Forces in Afghanistan. 3 Commando Brigade
will take over from 16 Air Assault Brigade in early Autumn,
and elements of the entire task force have come together
to train in Wales and Wiltshire.

and League 1 side Northampton Town have played, 1 (UK)ADSR
in a pre-season friendly, this Tuesday Lord's will be hosting
a very special cricket match. The Army take on the Navy
in a game to celebrate 100 years of matches between the
two adversaries and with the Olympics just 2 weeks away
the rowing squad have been making their final preparations.
The Army's Robin Bourne Taylor is one of three servicemen
heading to Beijing, but not in the boat he was hoping for.
